What's a card 'second'?

Card 'seconds' are cards that haven't come out 100% perfectly. They're perfectly fine as greetings cards, but they're just not quite perfect enough to sell at full price. 

Why's THIS one a 'second'?

The card has a slight bent corner, but it's barely noticeable.
