Over the last few weeks I've been collecting and illustrating fun quotes by female authors for my new range called 'Women In Print. It's been such a joy to do! I've created nine designs from the quotes I've found and they may just be my favourite yet.
The designs are bold and joyful, combining vibrant colours, modern illustration and fun hand-letterering to bring the words to life. They're available for preorder on Kickstarter as cards, tea towels and prints, bringing the words of classic female authors into your home, from your living room wall to your kitchen sink.
I've decided to launch the range on Kickstarter because ordering brand new stock as a small indie business is a big (and scary!) investment, especially with things like tea towels, which cost quite a lot to print.
It’s also not great for the environment to buy stuff that might not sell, so it feels more important than ever to make things people genuinely want.
Launching through Kickstarter means I only print what’s been ordered and I can learn what designs people like - and what they're not so keen on.
