Continuing my theory that there's a Shakespeare quote for everything, here's one that sums up the amazing beauty and community of last night's northern lights. I missed them when they appeared a few weeks ago, so last night was really special. I loved how so many people's photos had similar shapes, streaks of light and colours - it felt like wherever you were in the north of England we were all having one big communal experience together.
Here's my best photo of the Northern Lights, taken with a very old iPhone. The phone has exaggerated the colours, but the pink and some of the green bit was definitely visible to the naked eye.
An all-round amazing experience!
