Introducing 'For The Love of Plants': a new botanical range of cards and prints

I bloomin' love plants - our house is full of them. We have a monstera in our kitchen that's nearly twice my size and it's an absolute thing of beauty. So it was really just a matter of time before I turned to my houseplants for inspiration and made a greetings card range to celebrate them in all their photosynthetic glory.

My first paintings were bright, colourful gouache paintings of four of our houseplants: our magnificent Monstera, as well as an Oxalis, Prayer Plant and Pothos - all gorgeous plants that are lovely to look at. I gave them bright backgrounds and added calligraphy names - and they became cards and wall art.

But while I loved these designs, I wanted to create some more occasion-specific cards too. So out came the botanical puns... Plant-tastic! Rooting for you! Go Wild on your birthday! You're blooming brilliant!

And lo, my new collection For The Love of Plants was born.

I'm really pleased with how they've come out - they're colourful, fun and are great for sending to plant-loving friends and family. I have a couple more in the pipeline and they're all available in my shop now
